I’ve been writing about independent consulting here and there on LinkedIn. But I just thought having a dedicated place would be good for sharing my independent consulting journey with the right audience as well as keeping my learnings in one place for my own sake.
Who’s this newsletter for?
You’re curious to hear about what it is like to pursue independent consulting.
You hope to take a leap someday from a W-2 job, replacing it with your own consulting business.
You want to know how I get clients, what pricing strategy I use, how I network, etc.
Why should you read this newsletter than other newsletters on a similar topic?
I’m not one of those already successful consultants making $1m/yr. I haven’t even gone independent consulting full-time yet. That means you get to see exactly how I’m doing what I’m doing, including how I’m preparing myself to take a leap.
I have a wife and a little daughter. I don’t know many people who are in my life circumstances and sharing their journey in pursuing an independent consulting business. If you have other family members in your household and are interested in independent consulting, I might be the guy who can relate.
